Roof structure complete
Trusses are up and braced, felt and battens on — so the roof's watertight now, which is the main thing before more rain. The engineer was out this morning and confirmed the trusses and bracing are all installed as designed; his email's attached below. Slating starts Tuesday, weather permitting - I'll send photos once it's on.
Everything your client needs. Nothing they don't.
Private client portal
A clean, private page for each project. One link, no account, works on any phone.
Progress updates & photos
Post photos and notes from site in seconds. Your client is emailed and sees each update in order.
Documents in the timeline
Share drawings, planning docs, and PDFs right inside an update. Your client views or downloads them anytime — no more chasing email attachments.
Hi, I'm Greg.
I'm a software developer in Dublin. I built BuildTimeline because I kept hearing the same thing from architects: clients constantly asking where things are, and project updates scattered across email, WhatsApp, and Dropbox.
So I'm building the tool I think you need — and I'd rather build it with a few practices than guess. If you join the pilot, I'll set up your first project with you myself and build around what you actually need. You're not buying software from a company; you're shaping a tool with the person who makes it.
greg@buildtimeline.comCommon questions.
What it is, and what I'm looking for.
BuildTimeline is in pilot. I'm working with a small number of Irish practices to make sure it does exactly what they need before I open it up properly.
What I'm looking for: practices with live residential projects who'll actually use it — post real updates, send a real client the portal link — and tell me honestly what works and what's missing. Useful feedback over polite feedback.
